[Music]

as Tripitaka and his companions

continued the westward journey

they crossed the kingdom of G say but

arriving at the capital city

they found the streets silent and

deserted there was no one to be found

anywhere wearily they stepped into the

royal temple only to find it to appear

to be utterly abandoned where are the

temple keepers I fear something dreadful

must have happened here to cause them to

leave but they haven't left Master look

to temple monks set a guide and bound

together what happened here who did this

whoever it was at least stopped short of

doing them any harm I fear we have a

most pitiful story to tell you this

royal temple of ours used to be famous

monks from near and far would visit here

you see this temple is known as the

temple of light because it contains a

magical golden egg which shines with

such a brilliant glow that it lights the

tower at night and turns it into a

beacon seem far and wide people came

from many lands to behold its light to

offer arms to the temple monks and most

importantly to pay their respects to our

much beloved king but all that is

changed now

not long ago a terrible misfortune

struck us

one night there was a terrible storm

thunder and lightning swept over the

land and heavy rains pelted our temple

and somehow that night the golden egg

mysteriously disappeared the king was

furious and accused the monks of theft

he ordered the temple closed with us

locked inside until we returned the egg

but none of the monks knows where it is

and so we have been locked in here for

many weeks such injustice we swear our

innocence to you don't turn your backs

on us if you agree to help us perhaps

we'll be able to discover what has

really happened to the magical egg and

free our fellow monks Master with your

kind permission I'll begin by cleaning

up this temple and at the same time I

can keep an eye out for any clothes we

shall be pleased to help you solve this

mystery and find the egg thank you

that evening as monkey used his magic to

sweep the stairs of the temple tower he

thought he heard laughter floating down

from the upper floors so he dashed up

the stairs to locate the source of the

laughter it seems to be coming from the

Attic

[Music]

I'm delighted we did a great job

stealing that egg Lord snake Hills

please yeah he'll be even more pleased

if we bring him back some more bubbles

[Laughter]

[Music]

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

well it's all the Rockies huh oh well

call me a wide-eyed dreamer but I have a

hunch these two glutes know a thing or

two about that missing egg don't you

master you take them before the king

first thing tomorrow morning and see

what he says

welcome most noble pilgrims thank you

your majesty

we may have found a clue to the missing

egg pray tell me

we found two very odd fish in the temple

they refuse to admit any knowledge of

the eggs whereabouts to us but perhaps

they'll tell you I want them brought

before me immediately and I want the

truth do you know where the hmm they

live at the bottom of Emerald Lake Your

Majesty it's true they live with their

father Duke single - this better be the

truth white thunder I must beg help from

you pilgrims in recovering this magic

egg of ours our kingdom is a dark

unhappy place without it I volunteer to

go to Emerald Lake along with my friend

pigs here to try and find the egg no all

right but next time it has to be Sandy's

turn so off they flew to Emerald Lake

with the two prisoners

[Music]

that's much better beneath them late

emerald lake in all its pristine beauty

meanwhile below the surface took single

tooth and Lord snake camp were

discussing the egg house sure I know

stealing is wrong in principle but this

golden egg why it's an absolutely

irresistible treasure and what's more we

deserve it well let's just hope there's

no trouble because of it they're on

their way

wait a minute I know these two there are

soldiers from my own army

[Music]
