Chris Simpson is a photographer he has

been a photographer for twenty years and

he talks about the kinds of photographs

he has taken in that time I've always

attempted to create an element of

mystery in my photographs

I'm doing a project for a watch company

they want to show different brands of

watches and basically sportsmen so today

it was the rowing

I'm not a rebel Tosh photographer and I

try and find a situation and then

manipulate it so that it works for me

this was very much a case in point

I was photographed from the tree she

walked by I saw her and put her in the

picture 99% of the photographs I take

are the truth because that's very much

my style of photography but here is a

case of a photograph that I've

manipulated as you see it that is one

picture shot for real as one picture the

difference is that the Canon is made out

of polystyrene that picture would not

have worked in my mind if I had had a

boring blue sky and these clouds late

afternoon they came along and they this

it becomes to me that the epic picture

and it says it's luck because those cars

weren't there to order you can

manipulate certain things the best

photograph I've ever taken

I love landscapes I love people I would

answer that by saying he is one of my

favorite pictures he comes across in a

proud noble way and it's that feeling

that I wanted to capture so I'm very
